DR
Co-founder and CEO
Devraj "Dev" Rana
Dev spent twelve years on the Singapore supercar floor, starting at Wearnes and moving through Hong Seh before striking out on his own. He built the Leng Kee showroom from a single lot into a stock of 85 cars worth S$62M, and grew a YouTube channel to 185,000 subscribers by filming the same walkarounds and trade conversations he'd have with a buyer in person. That audience is now Octane's lowest-cost source of demand. He still closes deals himself, often on a Saturday, because the forty-trader network he's built over a decade only trusts a name it already knows. At Octane he sets product direction, owns the trader relationships, and is still the face of the channel.

Co-founder and COO
Aakash Mehra
Aakash spent seven years at PwC Deals Singapore working consumer and automotive M&A, structuring the kind of transactions Octane's buyers are used to seeing on much larger deals. He met Dev through a mutual client and saw the same trust gap in the used-supercar trade that dealers had spent decades pricing around. He left PwC to build Octane's finance function and operating discipline from scratch, and now owns the platform build alongside the day-to-day numbers. He holds the P&L, runs the fundraising process, and pushed for the marketplace to stay asset-light rather than hold inventory.

Head of Operations
Marcus Tan
Marcus has spent eighteen years in Singapore luxury auto, first at Wearnes Bentley and then at Eurokars Porsche, before joining Octane to run the showroom floor. He knows the paperwork side of the business as well as anyone in the market, from COE renewals to trade-in valuations, and he's the one buyers meet when they walk into Leng Kee for a viewing. He joined Octane to bring dealership-grade operating rigor to a business that started as a channel and a trader network. He now runs viewings, inspections and the handover process for every car that moves through the showroom or the marketplace.

Slide 6 - Mission & Vision (LAVisions layout)layout: mission_vision · 16:9
mission
Make Southeast Asia's supercar market as trustworthy as it is exciting
Octane exists because a S$1M car still trades on a classifieds listing and a phone number. We built a curated, asset-light marketplace where independent inspection, verified condition reports and a real showroom replace the guesswork, so buyers spend six figures on confidence rather than risk.
vision
The prestige marketplace every collector in the region starts with
In three years we want Octane to be the first call for the S$300k to S$3M buyer across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Hong Kong, the way a trusted broker is today, but backed by verified data and a platform that scales. We're building the high-trust, high-prestige quadrant no incumbent owns, one showroom relationship and one verified listing at a time.

Slide 7 - Next Hires (LAVisions layout)layout: next_hires · 16:9
next hires
The five roles we're hiring next
01
Kuala Lumpur General Manager
We're hiring the KL General Manager in Q3 2026 to run local trader relationships and replicate the Singapore showroom-to-marketplace flywheel ahead of the 2027 KL launch.
02
Platform Engineer
Platform v1 goes live in Q2 2026. We need a second engineer to build out the listing engine, verified condition reporting and checkout as marketplace closes scale toward the 180-close Q4 target.
03
Finance Lead
A dedicated finance hire under Aakash to own reporting discipline and cash management as revenue scales toward the S$360M 2027 plan.
04
Content Producer
A second on-camera presenter and content producer to scale the 185k-subscriber channel beyond Dev, reducing the founder dependency our own SWOT flags as a weakness.
05
Inspection & Verification Lead
As the marketplace expands beyond Singapore we need someone to run the independent inspection network and condition-reporting standard that underwrites buyer trust at every close.
